Brian Williamson believes in the power of ideas clearly communicated. His focus is the transformation of the economy and society via the effective use of ICT, and the strategy, policy and regulatory challenges of convergence. Brian sees innovative thinking as essential in meeting these challenges, and has contributed to the development and application of ideas including "equivalence", radio spectrum administrative incentive pricing (AIP) and "anchor product" regulation as means to unlock the potential of ICT.

Phillipa Marks has particular expertise in the application of market mechanisms to the management of the radio spectrum. She advised the New Zealand government on creating the first ever national market in spectrum in 1989, and since then has developed the approach to spectrum pricing now applied in the UK, and advised regulators and operators on auctions and trading issues. She has also worked on digital TV regulation since the term ‘digital switchover’ was first coined. Phillipa finds working in multi-disciplinary teams looking for solutions to policy and regulatory issues highly rewarding.
