Yi Shen Chan specialises in research and reporting on the media and telecoms sectors. He started off as a journalist and has since worked for media regulators in the UK and Singapore. Through this he has developed a keen understanding of the evolving communications industries and the implications on economy, society and governance.  In particular he has worked on public policy and regulatory issues including spectrum management, next generation broadband, digital broadcasting and competition in convergent markets. Yi Shen has an MSc in Media and Communication Governance (Distinction) from the London School of Economics and a BA in Economics and Philosophy from the National University of Singapore. He is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
